Amherst Wins 23-12

Trinity went on the road today to Amherst and came up short in their quest of defending the NESCAC title. Amherst improves to  7-0 on the season and will go on the road to play 6-1 Williams for the outright NESCAC championship. Trinity falls to 5-2 and will conclude its season on Homecoming Saturday against Wesleyan at 12:00 PM.

November 1st Night Update

Women’s Field Hockey: Defeated Connecticut College 2-1 today at home. Will play Bowdoin at home on Saturday, November 7th at 11 AM. Trinity defeated Bowdoin, the two-time defending National Champions, a little over a week ago by a score of 2-1.

Men’s Soccer: Lost today to Bowdoin by a score of 3-0 in the NESCAC quarterfinals. The loss concludes a solid year in which the Bantams went 10-4-1.

Women’s Soccer: Lost today to Tufts by a score of 2-1. Sophomore Leigh Howard had Trinity’s lone goal. The loss ends the Bantams’ season with a 5-5-4 record.

Men’s Cross-Country: Finished 10th today in the NESCAC championships. Brendan Powers led all Bantams with a 33rd place finish. Dan Scully finished 39th overall and Blake Fisher followed close behind with a 47th place finish.

Women’s Cross-Country: Finished 11th today in the NESCAC championship. Giselle Harrington finished 73rd overall and Kate Barton wasn’t far behind with an 81st place finish.

TSN:Looking Forward

Fall NESCAC Playoffs are in full swing starting today:

Men’s Football: Lost to Middlebury 31-24 on Saturday. NESCAC title hopes are still alive as they play for the championship next week @ Amherst (6-0) at 12:30.

Women’s Volleyball: Defeated Tufts, at the time ranked #1 in New England and then defeated Bowdoin to finish the regular season at 13-9. They will go on the road to Tufts to play Connecticut College in the NESCAC quarterfinals.

Women’s Field Hockey: Finished the season with a stellar 13-1 record. Plays host to Connecticut College today at 1 PM on Robin Sheppard field.

Men’s Soccer: Finished the season with a 10-3-1 record which was good for 5th in the NESCAC. Currently playing on the road against Bowdoin in the NESCAC playoffs.

Women’s Soccer: Finished the season with a 5-4-4 record with a 0-0 tie on Friday against Amherst. They are the road today aginst Tufts in the NESCAC playoffs.

TSN wishes all the Winter athletes a healthy and successful season as they are allowed to officially begin practicing today
